Open Access Policy
PIKAT supports Open Access as a fair means of ensuring that scientific research, usually funded by public institutions, is available to all. Open Access publications are more likely to be found, read, cited, and used for future research than those published in closed journals. We believe that it is in the best interests of authors and their parent institutions, as well as the journal itself, to make all of our content freely available and reusable. All articles published by PIKAT are immediately available worldwide under an open-access license.
This means that:
1. Everyone has unrestricted access to the full text of all articles published in PIKAT;
2. Everyone is free to reuse published material provided the original work is properly cited;
3. Authors retain copyright in their articles.
