Standard Process

Once assigned as a reviewer for a manuscript, you will receive a notification via email with a link to begin the review process. If the manuscript falls outside your area of expertise or if you identify a conflict of interest or potential bias, you may decline the invitation. This ensures that reviews remain impartial and of high quality for the IIAIR journal. An example of the email message is provided below.

Upon accepting the invitation, you will proceed through four steps in the review process. The first step, "Request," presents a summary of the manuscript, including the title and abstract, as shown below:

First, please ensure you have no conflicts of interest by selecting the appropriate radio button. Then, check the box to confirm that you agree to have your review data collected in the system. Click "Accept Review" to proceed to the next step which is shown below:

In the second step, "Guidelines," you will find important information about the review process. Please read this carefully before proceeding. Once ready, click "Continue" to move to the next step as shown below:

The third step, "Download & Review," presents a set of questions based on the type of article. After providing your comments, you can recommend a decision and click "Submit Review." The example is presented below:

The final step is the "Completion" which indicates that your review has been recorded and send to the editor. You can add discussion if necessary. The screenshot of this state is shown below:

Thats all! Thank you for your contribution as a reviewer at IIAIR journal.
