The main problem faced by farmers in Samboja District is the limited access to electricity and the use of inefficient manual irrigation methods. This condition results in the underutilization of nearby river water, high labor requirements for water transport, and low land productivity. To address these issues, a community service program was conducted by implementing a solar-powered automatic irrigation system at the Sumber Usaha Farmers Group in Sungai Merdeka Village, Samboja District. The implementation stages included Site Survey and Problem Identification, Program Socialization and Kick-off, System Design and Fabrication, System Installation, and User Training and Evaluation. The system employed an AC water pump powered by a 200 Wp solar panel and controlled by a digital timer to automate irrigation schedules. The results demonstrated improvements in time and labor efficiency: irrigation that previously required manual operation for 2–3 hours could now run automatically with less than 45 minutes of supervision. The program also enhanced the farmers’ understanding of renewable energy technology and encouraged plans for system replication in other community-owned farmlands..
