Community service at Kenanga Kindergarten aims to improve infrastructure that supports student learning effectiveness with a focus on three main aspects: improving play facilities, organizing the water storage system, and providing outdoor learning facilities. However, this kindergarten faces several challenges, such as limited natural resource management, suboptimal energy utilization, and inadequate sanitation facilities. The main problems identified include damage to play facilities that could potentially cause harm. In addition, the poorly organized water storage system causes discomfort and affects the cleanliness of the play area. Kenanga Kindergarten also experiences a lack of outdoor learning facilities and minimal utilization of natural resources to support interactive learning activities. Playground facilities were repaired to ensure student safety, including inspection, procurement of materials, repairs, and testing of equipment. The water storage system was organized by installing effective gutters, allowing rainwater to be used as a water reserve to reduce operational costs. In addition, outdoor learning facilities were developed through the creation of a family medicine garden (TOGA) as an educational medium. Kenanga Kindergarten, as a partner in the implementation of community service, actively participated in assisting the program from planning to implementation and evaluation.
