KOLABORASI MULTIDISIPLIN UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN LINGKUNGAN RT: PEMETAAN, DAN INFRASTRUKTUR
Abstract
This activity was carried out in RT 38, Gunung Samarinda Village, North Balikpapan, as a form of community service based on multidisciplinary collaboration. This activity responded to environmental issues such as the lack of regional administrative maps, inadequate public facilities, and a suboptimal waste management system. Four main program focuses were designed, including: creating regional maps, planning the design of integrated health posts (Posyandu) and community security posts along with the Budget (RAB), installing street and alley name signs, and establishing a Waste Bank based on citizen participation. The implementation method is outlined in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The active participation of residents and RT partners played a significant role in the smooth running of the activity. Despite facing several technical and administrative obstacles, the program ran well and produced tangible outcomes for the community. This activity not only had a physical impact on the environment but also strengthened citizen involvement in regional development. This community service is expected to become a model for regional development based on collaboration between scientific fields and participation.
