DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING OF A WEB BASED DONATION DATA RECORDING SYSTEM AT THE BERKAH BOX MOSQUE IN BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak

Community Service at the Berkah Box Mosque in Balikpapan was implemented in response to the need for digitalization of information to support religious and social activities. The Berkah Box Mosque actively serves as a center for community activities, education, and distribution of donations from the congregation, as well as other scheduled activities. Although it previously had an adequate digital platform, information on activities and distribution had not yet effectively reached the wider community, especially in Balikpapan. The main program in this activity was the development of a mosque profile website to improve access to information for the congregation and the community. The website was designed to contain important information such as prayer schedules, study activities, donation information, and other mosque agendas in a structured and accessible manner. The program implementation method consisted of six stages: preparation with partners, data collection, website design and development, testing and evaluation, refinement, and preparation of the final report. The results of this activity include the official website of the Berkah Box Mosque, a website management training module, and a hosting plan and use of a public domain. In addition, website management training was conducted for mosque employees to ensure the sustainable use of this digital platform. This activity is expected to be a sustainable solution in supporting technology based information and community service activities within the mosque environment
