Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the effectiveness of student learning evaluation through the application of gamification technology at SD Harapan Bangsa Integrated Christian School. Conventional evaluation methods often reduce student motivation and active participation, making it necessary to adopt a more interactive and engaging approach. The proposed solution involves using gamified educational platforms such as Blooket, ABCya, Google Interland, and Wordwall, which have proven to increase student engagement and assist teachers in conducting dynamic and adaptive assessments.
The program consists of several stages, including identifying teachers’ needs, training on creating gamified evaluations, classroom implementation, and reflection and assessment of the program’s outcomes. Teachers will be trained to design engaging evaluations based on active participation, real- time feedback, and positive reinforcement through game elements such as points, leaderboards, and badges.
The main outputs of this activity include intellectual property rights (IPR) for the gamification application and a documentary video showcasing the training process, classroom implementation, and feedback from teachers and students. This documentation is expected to serve as a best practice model that can be replicated in other schools and contribute to the development of innovative learning in elementary education.
