Revitalisasi Fasilitas Umum dan Keagamaan Melalui Pembuatan Tempat Penampungan Sementara (TPS) dan Pengecatan Musholla di Kelurahan Karang Joang

Abstract

The problem of household waste in RT 38 and RT 56, Karang Joang Subdistrict, remains a major issue that affects environmental cleanliness and public health. The lack of public awareness in managing waste, the absence of a waste bank, and the poor condition of the Temporary Waste Disposal Site (TPS) have led some residents to burn waste in their yards. In addition, the musholla, which serves as both a place of worship and a learning center for children, has deteriorated and lacks manpower for maintenance. Based on these problems, the community service team implemented a program that included waste management education, TPS improvement, the establishment of a simple waste bank, and repainting the musholla. The activities were carried out through field studies, coordination with local partners, on-site implementation, as well as evaluation and final reporting. This program aims to improve environmental cleanliness, raise residents’ awareness of waste management, and enhance the comfort of public facilities in the area.
