PENDAMPINGAN WISATA KEBUN KANGKUNG BEJO MELALUI SISTEM INFORMASI DAN PEMASARAN DIGITAL BALIKPAPAN
Abstract
The Kang Bejo Educational Tourism Village in Balikpapan is an agrotourism area managed by the Kang Bejo Tourism Group (Pokdarwis) since 2020. The village is known for its broadleaf kale plantations that remain green even after harvest, a leading product supporting East Kalimantan's food security during the pandemic. Although popular in the local market, the village is not widely known outside Balikpapan. Therefore, a digital marketing strategy is essential to reach more visitors. The village also requires a visitor data system to support the annual assessment of Indonesian Tourism Villages. In addition to garden tours, Kang Bejo offers educational programs such as training in kale planting, hydroponic bean sprouts, cooking, and handicrafts. The village's main source of income comes from these training programs. There is also a food court serving culinary delights made from kale. The Community Service Team has contributed through the creation of profile videos, creative content, guidebook design, documentation, and a logo. Through these efforts, it is hoped that Kang Bejo Tourism Village will become better known, increase the competitiveness of educational tourism in Balikpapan, and strengthen the local
economy.
