The coastal area of Seraya Beach in Balikpapan faces serious problems related to limited lighting infrastructure due to humid environmental conditions and high salt content. This causes metal lamp components to rust quickly and not last long, disrupting community activities at night. This social innovation aims to design and develop anti-corrosion lamps based on carbon fibre and epoxy resin as an innovative solution that is adaptive to coastal conditions. The implementation method includes a community needs survey, prototype design, lamp manufacturing using the skinning technique, installation at strategic points, and performance evaluation and community participation. The results of the study show that the prototype lamps made of carbon fibre, resin, and epoxy have high resistance to corrosion and are capable of providing stable lighting. Of the two lamp units installed, all functioned optimally without showing any material damage. To measure the level of usefulness, a questionnaire and brief interviews were conducted with local residents with the following main parameters: lamp condition, material durability, community response, and participation in maintenance. The questionnaire results showed an average score of 3.87, indicating that the anti-corrosion lamp innovation was positively received and beneficial for the coastal environment. Therefore, the carbon fibre and epoxy-based anti-corrosion lamp innovation can serve as a sustainable model for the development of lighting infrastructure in Indonesia's coastal areas.
