The Dharma Bakti Waste Bank, located in RT 055, Muara Rapak Subdistrict, remains an active waste management facility to this day. Its existence is supported by economic and socio-cultural potential, as well as strong community involvement in waste management efforts. Local residents contribute to the recycling process by collecting reusable waste. However, one of the main issues faced is the ongoing practice of burning organic waste in open areas. This poses risks of air pollution, adverse health impacts, and environmental imbalance. Therefore, more environmentally friendly solutions are needed to manage organic waste without polluting the air. This program aims to optimize organic waste processing through the production of eco-enzyme, a liquid resulting from the fermentation of organic waste that functions as a natural cleaner, organic fertilizer, and air pollutant reducer. The implementation of eco-enzyme is expected to be an effective alternative to reduce the practice of burning organic waste and support sustainable environmental management efforts. The activities will involve students and the local community in eco-enzyme production training, its application in daily life, and raising awareness of its long-term benefits. In addition, the program also aims to increase public awareness of responsible waste management and strengthen community engagement.
