Bamboe Wanadesa Ecotourism is one of the environmentally based tourist destinations in Balikpapan City with significant potential. However, land utilization, particularly in the back area of the site, has not been optimal, resulting in limited attractiveness and added value for visitors. This issue underlines the urgency of optimizing management and developing supporting facilities to make the site more functional, appealing, and competitive. The method employed in this program involved a participatory approach with the local managers, field observation, and visual communication design planning. The outcomes included the creation of photo spots as new attractions, the development of brochures as promotional media, and the design of a master plan for long-term destination management. The results demonstrated improvements in facility quality, more effective space utilization, and enhanced promotional tools that broaden tourism outreach. In conclusion, optimizing management and facility development at Bamboe Wanadesa contributes to increasing tourist attraction, supporting destination sustainability, and strengthening the role of ecotourism in local economic development.
