This community service initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of household-scale agriculture through the application of simple technologies at the garden of the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT) Daun Sop Ceria, KM. 21 Balikpapan. The primary challenges identified include the low effectiveness of manual irrigation and limited planting media for climbing plants. To address these issues, a pergola was designed and constructed as a climbing structure, alongside an automatic irrigation system. The implementation was carried out through a participatory approach involving socialization, technical training, and hands-on field practice. The results indicate improved knowledge and skills among KWT members in adopting basic agricultural technologies, as well as the establishment of more efficient and environmentally friendly planting facilities. The integration of pergolas and automatic irrigation systems has proven to be a practical and applicable solution to land and labor constraints, while also supporting the productivity and sustainability of family farming.
