Abstract

Community service activities from the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) community service group from the combined Fakultas Rekayasa dan Teknologi Industri (FRTI), Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Informasi (FSTI), and Fakultas Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (FPB) were carried out with the Sepinggan Raya RT 28 Women Farmer Group (KWT) with the aim of improving the efficiency and sustainability of community agriculture. The activity lasted for approximately three months starting from April 12, 2025 to June 24, 2025. The main problems faced by partners are the condition of damaged land fences so that they do not optimally protect plants from outside disturbances, as well as sprinkler irrigation systems that do not function due to pump damage and pipe leaks. The implementation method includes the preparation stage, socialization, infrastructure improvement, and technical training for KWT members. The main activities include the construction of new fences with wood, zinc, and protective mesh materials, as well as the optimization of sprinkler systems through pump repairs, replacement of damaged pipes, and rearrangement of watering layouts. The results of the questionnaire from 15 respondents showed that 67%–80% rated the program as having a positive impact, with the majority of respondents assessing the solutions offered as very helpful. Overall, these activities have succeeded in improving land security, irrigation efficiency, and agricultural productivity. This program also provides an educational impact in the form of increasing knowledge and land management skills for KWT members, thereby encouraging independence and sustainability of community agricultural businesses.
