Abstract

The difficulty in obtaining chemical fertilizers for agriculture is a significant obstacle for farmers. The Ayo Bangun farmer group in Karang Joang Village is one of the groups affected by the difficulty in obtaining fertilizer for their crops. The solution to the difficulty in obtaining chemical fertilizers for their crops is to make Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC). The advantages of POC are its ease of processing and its environmental friendliness. The main principle in making POC is the fermentation of organic waste by decomposing microorganisms. POC can be used as fertilizer for plants. The community service implementation method includes outreach and education regarding POC, preparation of tools and materials, and practical training on POC production. The community service program on liquid organic fertilizer production has successfully provided insight and practical skills to the target community in processing organic waste into valuable products for the agricultural sector. As many as 87.5% of the public already know about POC and 75% of the public already understand how to make their own POC
