Abstract

Community service is carried out through the direct application of knowledge to empower the community in accordance with local needs. The location of the community service is in Kampung Banyumas, an area with abundant natural resources, particularly in the fields of fisheries and agriculture. However, the local community still faces challenges in processing the results of catfish farming, limited access to clean water for worship facilities, and a lack of documentation of the village’s potential. As part of the work program, clean water filters have been installed at the mosque after conducting a water quality analysis. This activity was followed by training on filter maintenance for the residents, to ensure the long-term sustainability of the filter’s function. In addition, the community service team has conducted field data collection to compile a village profile, covering aspects of natural, economic, and cultural potential, through direct observation and interviews with the residents. These activities are expected to improve the quality of worship facilities, support the promotion of the village’s potential through digital media, and strengthen the community's capacity to manage and utilize existing resources sustainably.
