Pemanfaatan Air hujan Dengan Menggunakan Filtrasi Air Sebagai Cadangan Air di Lingkungan Sekitar TK Harapan Bunda

Abstract

This Community Service Program (KKN) was conducted with the aim of educating and providing an alternative solution to the limited availability of clean water in the area surrounding TK Harapan Bunda, through the utilization of filtered rainwater as a water reserve. The methods used in this activity included field observation, socialization with school residents, and the construction of a simple rainwater harvesting and filtration system. The system was designed using easily accessible materials, such as a combination of natural substances, zeolite, activated carbon,sand, and others as the filtration media. The implementation results showed that the filtered rainwater could be used for non-potable purposes, such as watering plants, cleaning school areas, and supporting local community activities. In addition, this program successfully raised awareness among school residents about the importance of water conservation and the application of environmentally friendly technology. Therefore, this program had a positive and sustainable impact on the surrounding environment and can be replicated in other areas with similar conditions.
