OPTIMIZING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF SDG'S THROUGH IMPROVING LEARNING FACILITIES AT TK BINA ANAPRASA 006 TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION
Abstract
Childhood is a golden period where the level of sensitivity to learning is very high. Therefore, early childhood education requires an environment that supports teaching and learning activities in the educational process. Bina Anaprasa Cempaka II Kindergarten is one of the schools in Karang Joang Village, North Balikpapan with inadequate teaching and learning facilities. The existing condition of the kindergarten has experienced some damage to its infrastructure facilities, making students less comfortable in teaching and learning activities. This community service aims to create a comfortable and safe teaching and learning environment for students in order to improve the quality of education at Cempaka Kindergarten. Based on the survey results, 3 aspects of the problem were obtained, namely the terrace infrastructure that was no longer suitable for use and could endanger users. The second aspect is inadequate learning media. The third aspect is the lack of student learning media that combines aspects of play with learning to increase student interest. The work program of this community service is to renovate the school infrastructure, namely the terrace, provide learning media in the form of educational toys, and teach students to make batik with simple techniques. The results of this service are expected to be one of the steps to improve the quality of education, especially for early childhood, to support the implementation of sustainable development goals in Balikpapan City.
