This organic waste management innovation and training was carried out in the Wisata Meranti Etam area located in Kelurahan Karang Joang, North Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. This area has natural potential that can be developed to improve the welfare of the surrounding community. Based on the results of observations in Wisata Meranti Etam area, two main problems were found. First, there is an accumulation of biomass waste scattered and spread around the tourist area that has not been optimally utilized. Second, there is a compost house that has not been operating for a long time and is damaged, thus stopping the potential for compost processing that can be beneficial to the community. To overcome these problems, three main work programs have been prepared. The first program is the revitalization of the compost house through structural repairs and reactivation of its operations. The second program is the development of economically valuable products through the production of organic fertilizer and briquettes from biomass waste. The third program includes education and community empowerment in managing organic waste. Through the implementation of this program, biomass waste in Wisata Meranti Etam can be managed and the compost house produces value-added products (briquettes and fertilizer) through revitalization and training for the community..
